Kendrick Perkins Concedes to Nikola Jokic After MVP’s Game 5 Dominance

Nikola Jokic’s performance in the 2024 NBA Playoffs is making people rethink their top 10 greatest players list.

On Tuesday, the Denver Nuggets’ star player had another great offensive game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Even ESPN’s Kendrick Perkins believes that Jokic will end up among the top 10 NBA players of all time when he retires.

In Game 5 against the Timberwolves, Jokic scored 40 points, made 15 of 22 shots, had 13 assists, and stole the ball twice. These stats are even more impressive because he mostly played against Rudy Gobert, the current NBA Defensive Player of the Year.

“Nikola Jokic is already the most skilled center we’ve ever seen touch the damn basketball,” said Perkins, who played 14 years in the NBA.

Jokic and the Nuggets will try to win the series this Thursday in Minnesota.
