Xabi Alonso has been a revelation since taking over at Bayer Leverkusen, and his side is currently sitting on top of the Bundesliga table, two points ahead of Bayern Munich. Many eyes from Liverpool are rightfully being cast towards Alonso's brilliant start. As a former player, he is one of the up-and-coming managers who could be seen as Klopp's potential successor at Anfield.

But Liverpool would have to act fast with the likes of Real Madrid also potentially sniffing about for his services.
