Former BBC journalist David Ornstein had some uplifting words on the man who guided the Gunners to their FA Cup triumph on Saturday, following the memorable 2-1 win over Chelsea.

Having seen off Sheffield United in the quarter-final of the competition, Arsenal faced off with Manchester City at Wembley stadium in the semi-final of the FA Cup a couple of weeks ago as a 2-0 victory saw them knock out the holders at the time.

On Saturday, the Gunners were facing Chelsea in the final of the competition, just over a year after the Blues had beaten them comfortably in the final of the Europa League at the end of the 2018/19 season.

Despite going behind early on, Arsenal managed to secure a memorable 2-1 win, thanks to two goals from Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang, who once again proved to be one of the best strikers in Europe at the moment.

The victory was one to remember for Mikel Arteta, who has now become the first manager to win a trophy at Arsenal since the exit of Arsene Wenger.

After Saturday’s match, an optimistic David Ornstein stated that Arteta is attempting to “build something special” at the club.
