Bayern Munich want at least €30 million before accepting an offer to sell Liverpool midfield target Thiago Alcantara leave the club this summer transfer window, according to German daily Bild.

The 29-year-old star has entered the final year of his deal at the Allianz Arena and has refused to sign a new contract with the German champions.

Bayern Munich want to sell the player and the Spaniard has received considerable interest with the Reds believed to be keen on taking him to Anfield during the transfer market.

The German outfit were initially holding out for around €35m to €40m for the player, but it seems the club have revised their demands.

Now the Bavarians are now ready to sell him for a sum of €30m this summer.

But Die Roten do not want to bring down the price further and will hold out for that figure before letting the star leave.

Liverpool are said to be keeping tabs on him but there are talks that they do not want to spend more than €25 million on Thiago.

Hansi Flick’s side are yet to receive an official bid for the midfielder and are waiting for offers to arrive.

Meantime, Divock Origi headed off for his summer holiday prepared to allow the memories of a “beautiful” Premier League campaign to sink in.

Origi netted for the first time since the derby against over Everton in December to help end a glorious season with a 3-1 win at Newcastle which left the Anfield outfit with a club record 99 points to go with a first title in 30 years.

The Belgium international told the club’s official website: “It’s beautiful. I think it’s something that, with time, we will be able to enjoy more and more.

“It has been a very special season and things like this are so big that it needs time to digest. We celebrated it well. Now, I think we can go on vacation with a perfect feeling.”
