Good evening, these are your Manchester City headlines for Saturday August 1.

Napoli president Aurelio Di Laurentiis has stated the price it will take for him to allow Kalidou Koulibaly to leave the club - and it is ten million euros lower than the last time he was asked about it.

Last month, Di Laurentiis said: "If City or United or PSG with €100m (£90m) showed up, I would think about it [selling Koulibaly] and it is probable that they [the player] would leave, always if their will was to leave.”

Now, Di Laurentiis has told Sky Italia: “Kalidou is a wonderful person and of course it’d be sad to lose him.

“Everything has a time and a place, even when it comes to going our separate ways. Having said that, we don’t have €90m on the table and in any case, it takes two to separate.”

New details of away kit 'leaked'

City's new away kit will be officially released on Monday, but a series of 'leaked' images have given fans a good idea of what it could look like.

Like the 2019/20 'Hacienda' kit, the new away shirt will be black, with a navy blue design on the front of the shirt said to reflect Manchester's architecture, specifically from the Castlefield area.

The club logo, as well as the Puma, Etihad and Nexen Tire sponsor logos, will be a 'copper gold' colour, the website claims. The shorts will be black, while the socks will be navy blue - again with the copper gold sponsoring.

The back, shoulders and sleeves of the shirt will be plain black, in a similar design to the home shirt where the mosaic pattern is limited to the front of the shirt.

Real Madrid played an intra-squad friendly on Saturday as they prepare to face City in the Champions League.

The La Liga champions are back training after taking a break following the completion of their league campaign, although Mariano Diaz is self-isolating after a positive Covid-19 test on his return to the training ground this week.

Zinedine Zidane lined his troops up in the club's new kits, and Pep Guardiola will hope to glean some information from the lineups and the video footage posted on Madrid's website as he drills his own players on what to expect from different Real combinations.

A centre-back spot is up for grabs with Sergio Ramos suspended after his red card in the first leg, although there was no room in either XI for Gareth Bale.
