Manchester United and Liverpool supporters are pleading with the Premier League to dish out a firm punishment on Manchester City with a points deduction. The current league champions were banned from European competitions for two years by UEFA on Friday night, after they were found to have broken Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules.

City were found to have committed “serious breaches” of FFP by UEFA. The club was subsequently banned from the Champions League, although City intend to appeal the decision. Rival fans have taken the opportunity to demand a Premier League points deduction on City. The Premier League are expected to react to UEFA’s findings, and the Citizens could also be in line for a points deduction.
