SHOULD CHELSEA TRY AND SIGN ZAHA

Fresh reports have claimed Chelsea are lining up a January move to try and sign Wilfred Zaha, but should they make a move for the winger

It is no secret that Chelsea were unable to sign any players during the summer window, and are unable to sign any players in the next window, at the moment. But their appeal date is now set for November 20th and if they do manage to get their ban overturned, it could be a very exciting one for Chelsea fans.

Frank Lampard has suggested that transfer will only happen if it makes sense, but some reports in the media have suggested that Lampard will be able to splash around £150 million on new talent, and has set his sights on Palace star Zaha.

Zaha has been in the transfer headlines all summer as a number of top clubs have been linked with a possible move ever since he admitted that he is eyeing up playing at the very top of the game.

And ahead of the upcoming window, reports claims Zaha is hopeful of leaving Crystal Palace when the window opens on January 1 and the report claims the south London side could be open to doing business for a ‘reduced price’ to avoid ‘poisoning the dressing room’.

And with the all the speculation surrounding the future of WILLIAN and Pedro, it is believed that the Blues will be keen to add another attacker, or two, to the side in the next window to get used to playing at the club before these two possibly leave the club at the end of the season.

Despite having Callum Hudson-OdoiCallum Hudson-OdoiCallum Hudson-Odoi, Christian Pulisic and Pedro in the squad, Frank Lampard is a bit thin on the wings and will need to add to his squad when they are able to sign players unless one of the talented youngsters comes out and impresses the Blues coach.

Zaha is a man that could be a world class winger if he joins the right club and it would be a shock to see him stay at Palace either this transfer window or next summer, if Palace decide to drop that £80 million price tag.

But seeing him sign for Chelsea would also be a massive shock as they know bringing in Zaha would compromise the futures of Pulisic and Hudson-Odoi, who is tipped to become one of the best wingers in the game.

But if Chelsea are keen to add a ready-made Premier League star to the side, Zaha is now one of the best in the English League.
