Mohamed Salah is believed to be ‘confident’ of being fit for Liverpool’s trip to Manchester United.

The Reds visit their most bitter rivals on October 20th, looking to match Manchester City’s record of 18 straight Premier League wins.

There have been fears surrounding Salah’s involvement in the game, after he limped of late on in last weekend’s 2-1 victory over Leicester City.

According to the Mirror, however, via the Express, the Egyptian is increasingly hopeful of starting at Old Trafford.

He will undergo a rehabilitation programme on his ankle injury during the international break, hopefully coming through it with flying colours.

The trip to United will be a tough occasion, even though many are expecting Liverpool to pick up a first win there since 2014.

Regardless of the Red Devils’ form, they often raise their game against their rivals.

Liverpool will, therefore, need to play well to win and having someone of Salah’s quality available would be a huge boost.

The 27-year-old hasn’t always been at his sparkling best so this season, but he is still a hugely important player for Jurgen Klopp.
